First I'll answer davidjsouth,

It cost me 500.00 For Paint and body (A REALLY GOOD HOOK-UP) But I'm friends with the owner.... so perks of the friendship I guess LOL Then I spent 400.00 at LMC Truck for NEW carpet and All new Window / door Seals. Everything Else Was Just labor and Junkyard trips. So total I've spent With the Junkyard trips 1500.00 Including the Price of the Truck !

And Now to Answer dixie_boysles
Paint that ugly wood grain black - I actualy Have the Old one and it's that silver Finish with a RED pinstripe on it here is a pic...

spray-in bedliner - I agree and Have the Herculiner to do it, that's Coming Soon !

get chrome handles for front doors to match tailgate and wheels - The Truck is Staying Red With Black Accents, The Raised Tailgate logo will be painted black and also the Tailgate handle as well.
new wheels and tires, not really digging those, some baby moons would look sick! - I'm Actually Going to Use these wheels and I'm Lowering the truck soon after....

I also think it would look good if the grille and bumbers were colormatched - I've seen that done and I don't think that (at least in my taste) that it would look good for me anyway.

Thanks For all your questions guys ! Keep em' Comin ! I want to do all I can to this truck and Who better to ask than YOU GUYS !!

Troy.

my first thought was to shoot you down. then i realised youve got an 87 and t coupes ended in 88, making yours a prime candidate for the swap! good luck on finding all the parts lol

Thanks for answering my question. B/c I'm thinking that maybe, just maybe some day I can restore my truck to look real shiny. Unless it breaks down on me all of a sudden.

i think your truck would look good with a tonneau cover on it, it would give it that street look!

I just picked up an 88 4x4 that's in really good condition, but it has the same corner in the dash pad that's messed up. did you find a replacement or is that one of those caps you put over the top of your original?

It's a replacement from the junkyard I was lucky enough to find a VERY Clean one.

And yes I am getting a tonneau cover as soon as I can afford it !

Excellent work! Did the body shop paint the bumpers and grill also? I need to paint my bumpers to the original black but was wondering what type of Black it is, factory or aftermarket?

It is ironic that when I look out of my window I see my truck which resembles the before photos of yours. You are my inspiration. Just pulled my engine today to change my oil pan gasket. Interior is next.
