Yep I'm tired of not being able to just hop in and go somewhere. She'll be road worthy after this. Gonna wheel the piss outa her this year.

Got her put back together. All except for the exhaust. In trying to get a new one built. The one I pieced together is falling apart. Tryin to find a shop to build one but they won't because it isn't a california registered vehicle. I'm gonna have to get it built without takin the truck in for them to see, it sounds like.

It's settin, waiting for the Yoke to be put back on. The yoke was gouged heavily by a improper seal. It's at the shop right now. They were supposed to call me when it's finished. Then I'm going to go get it registered.

So I drive 40 miles to this exhaust shop only to find out the appointment I had scheduled really isn't scheduled because the guy that I was talking to is the brother of the shop owner. The guys working there has no knowledge of my appointment and says the soonest he can get it done it's Friday morning. So there goes wheeling tomorrow.

So I got the truck back from the exhaust shop. Isn't exactly what I would have built but it works and it's up out of the way.

Nothing to update other than the bearing I used in my doubler kit went out. The new one is here but it's supposed to rain all weekend. I'll be going out of town to a training class all next week so I won't have any time to work on it until next weekend. But I might take it up to a friends and go wheeling since the bearing is out it won't hurt much to keep driving it. I'm gonna reseal up the PTO cover on the T-case too since it has started to weep.

Found a pretty good soft spot yesterday. She's still settin there lol. My 9,000lb winch couldn't break the auction so we dug it out a little then tried again. Got it to move about 6". Gonna take my buddies F-350 over later then swap my winch to the back to try to winch it out backwards this time. I drug my buddies yota like nothing yesterday trying to winch out.

Shit's about to get real! I've sourced a of 76 f350 with a D60 front end. Gonna swap the 5.0 over to a 79 bronco frame, swap the ranger cab on, put the ranger's suspension on the bronco frame then exo it with a flat bed. I'm hoping to be running 44's under her by the fall. I'm hoping to make it to KOH next year!

Well I'm going to look at a early bronco tomorrow. If I end up getting it I'll be gutting this ranger to build the bronco.

Picked up a used T-case to pull the gears out of for my doubler. The vent tube was installed in a poor location which caused the oil to be slung out. That caused the planetary gears to go out. I'll be replacing them and moving the vent tube to the back half of the case. That should fix the issue. While I'm at it I'll be using a chainsaw file to put a decent groove in the shift rod for the front output in the 205. It's been popping out of fear while in 4wd when I start going down hill. Truck is running good now though. I replaced the brake master cylinder and the front calipers last month. Brakes are working correctly now which is nice lol. She stops in half the distance now! Took her mudding a few weeks ago. Had a lot of fun!
