Well I got the fuel pump/gauge changed and the exhaust changed. Plugged in the abs and drove it, looks like a bad wheel sensor on the LF. Took it on a short road trip this evening Up to pittsburgh...ran great no problems. Picked up a tailgate that will need bodywork but not rusted like the one on there...

It will be up for sale in a week or 2. I just have to get the brakes fixed and the tailgate replaced and clean it all up.

My source..
http://www.paintscratch.com/cgi-bin/makepaint2.cgi

You know Ford calls the names different on different models even though it's the same paint code... There's a color on 07-09 Mustangs called "Valencia", yet on the Ranger it's called something different. Same color code. Different name. You also should know that just because a brochure says a color isn't available, doesn't mean it wasn't offered. There's '03 Rangers sprayed with DWB.....but it ain't listed in the brochure...

The truck in question sure looks a little more orange than red in the shots from the ad....could be the pic quality, but it looks off of toreador...

Well I found 2 unrelated issues. The ABS light was caused by a bad sensor on the LF. I put a used one on but it didn't fix it so I bought a new one but it hasn't got here yet. The right rear brake was grabbing and squealing. I found the automatic adjuster cable had been replaced with a piece of tie wire and a the shoes were glazed. I started working on the replacement tailgate for it monday but haven't made it back to the garage yet...lol

Well I finally got a chance to work on the truck a little. Between the snow, my sister being in the hospital and a death my time has been occupied. Anyway I got the tailgate fixed up and painted and took a few pics...

Yeah, just the tailgate. That color paint is 80.00 a pint for the good stuff and they didn't have a mix in the cheaper brand. I had him shoot it with his gun and came up with a mix in the cheap paint...31 a pint, its actually 2002 kia cinnamon red...lol
