Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
almost perfect, it has a few spots im not thrilled at, but for $200 cash who cares.
Gonna start with that wider axle, then go from there.
My hybrid leaf pack if anybody cares to see it.

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
Good tires, my buddy has them on his 4x4 jeep and F250 and loves them. Morgan had some for a couple months as well and I think he liked them as well. They seem to work a bit better in dirt then our BFG's, only thing I dont like is how they dont look agressive or knobby enough to be an A/T. At first and second glance they look like street tires IMO

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
Their looking pretty good here:
took the truck down some back roads, testing out the new leafs. very pleased with the spring rate and the travel. later on when i decide to build the front end, ill do more testing. until then they work great!

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
ya they look great tread showing, but from the side they dont look much different then street tires. That's really my only beef with them.

yea fair enough. the BFG AT's has the same kinda thing goin for them. thing with a prerunner is they dont run mud tires. and since i use my truck mainly for back roads, i dont need muds either. large streets are fine by me as long as they get my truck around.

BFG's are a lot knobbier looking.
And I wouldn't be to quick to say that, check DR and you'll see a massive number of BFG KM1's around

Mmm Mmm Sexy.
As for tires, the ones you are looking at are good tires, I'd run a new set of BFG's but that's me. I know those are a tried and true tire. I bought these for my GMC

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
^ Nice!
Just got off the phone with the shop, 295 a tire!!! no thanks!
Looking back towards the BFG now, as i trust the tire and i now see it has the same tread width as i was looking at before. also has a .6" wider tread width then a grabber red label.
Not sure bout you but i think im going to stick it out with my true tested BFG's. this will be my 3rd set LOL. now to find a buyer for my 33x10.5's. the BFG 33x12.5 came back $250 cheaper then those falkens.
