Well remember that rims, tires and current lift is about 2500. add in tuner, light bar, k&n, new brakes, 4.56 gears, stereo, seats, fiberglass...ect and it adds up VERY quick. but i really dont mind because i love the truck and wouldnt do it any different.

EXACTLY! i figure, why get something that is probably stressed out and worn, when i can go new from the start and have it all perfect. besides, if im $1,000 deep in my next upgrade, $150 isnt gonna kill me and ill feel much better.

one piece of advise. decide what the purpose of the truck will be, and stick to it. if you want to go big, save save save and do it. dont buy something now cus it gets you buy, do it right the first time. you will save money.
oh, hope ya got deep pockets, prerunners are the most expensive to build.

Sounds like a plan. Investing in high end shocks and such i would avoid. spindles, 1" spacers out back, pull your bedsides and grab some fiberglass fenders. tires, rims, gears and your all set. but go little by little, ive been at it for 2 yrs now.

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
Some recent pics of the truck at work today.
Bed flare:
3M tape:
----------
The more i look at it, the more i want bedsides Hahaha. too bad all said and done would be near a grand!
Im looking at the pics, and trying to figure out whats missing. its not my bedsides, its not the height of the truck...
im thinking its the narrower axle, and the 10.5 bfg's... ill admit im not as much a fan of them as i was my 32x11.5's... totaly lost right now on whats next, ill be honest...
wider axle, Wider 33x12.5 tires? (im leaning towards this right now)
or
wider axle, bedsides?
or
wider axle, same tires, front end parts listed earlier?
What do you guys think? it just doesnt look prerunner to me right now, looks like a stock truck with fenders to me haha...

Re: 06 XLT Pre-Runner Build (Updated Regularly)
a long facebook conversation has made the decision for me. front lift is going to wait. Wider axle and 12.5 wide tires will be going on. with that said, anybody got a reccomendation for tires? i could stay with BFG, but was considering the general grabbers. i dont need a mud tire either.

Ya i was going to pick those up but I was told by everyone I talked to to wait for camburg coils. I also contacted him about the shocks but never got a response

2 things IMO:
1. Wider tires for sure, IMO 11.50 is perfect and I really wish 33's came in that size.
2. I'd worry more about how wide it is up front then the back right now. Im not sure on the perfect solution apart from a midtravel or longtravel kit..... BUT maybe wheel spacers? I personally am not a fan but that will help fill the fenders much better and it will look infinitely better IMO.

I know a lot of people that love the tire on dirt, but are not a fan at all on street. Since its clear your truck is on street a lot I'd stay away from them.
