Subbed....love everything about your truck! Many of your mods will be added to my wishlist...starting with those Mountaineer seats. They have to be soooo much more comfortable than the sport bucket seats in my truck! lol

Picked up a new toy today to help knock out some up coming projects. Going to get some gas this afternoon and commence burning things.

Got the CV replaced tonight and also started to rework my Limit straps. also put my new toy to use.

My last strap set up was 100% bolt on and worked OK but I managed to bend my mounting clevises to the point of not being functional.

so now that I have a welder I changed them up

New vs old ( you can see the bend in the lower mounted clevis.)

the new set up uses a sleeve and standoffs that is welded to the frame next to the shock tower support bracket.

Lower tab mounted and burned in

all painted and tight ( this should be much more robust.)

New Parts, figured while I was replacing 1 CV I might as well do both and replace the wheel bearings at the same time.

out with the old

In with the new (its amazing what some degreaser and a wipe down will do, it is black under all the dirt!)

I love everything about this thread. No cheap body lifts or silly little "mods". You have perfect taste in custom work to your truck.

This is a real truck doing real work.

That trip with your buddy and his 350 looked fun. I loved the craftsman wrench in the eggs.

After seeing this, i could move to Washington. That right there is God's country. I can't believe I have never seen this thread before.

Thanks man! Means a lot

I picked up the parts for my f250 master cylinder swap and brake line upgrade. Planning to install everything tomorrow.

Why is this good? More braking pressure?

Ya the 250 has a larger bore on the MC with added fluid capacity. stopping 33s down steep trails is a challenge with the stock set up.

we will see how it works out, its a fairly cheap part which is nice.

Pretty cool new mod. How does it affect vision?

Not terribly, it sits about at the height of my tool box. here are some more pictures.

from the side

pin comes out and folds out of the way.

and can still open the tail gate.

Here's some build pics getting better at welding.

mocking up everything
