Re: Project Search and Rescue Truck
What is the weight limit for your winch on the front bumper? And how did you install the receiver hitch on the bumper, bolt on or weld?

It's a 10k winch the bumper has no load rating so if I rip it off I know it's exceeded.
The hitch was bolt in up front but it's been gone for years

Yep its in the carport, have a bit of a ford fleet right now but all the others are paid for and not worth getting rid off at this point.

haha thanks, 8000lbs is plenty for me, means I can do the ranger or the cobra on a trailer comfortably.
now I just need to get rid of the silly bumper on the front and I will be good to go!

I'm good with that. Lots of options out there, you won't have any money left for the ranger.

Would like to go with an add venom but 2k for a bumper is nuts!
I can buy a bender and build my own for less! And then I have a bender.
Not much left to do to the ranger, just finish the rear end up with the new axle and shocks and it's good to go. I have nearly run out of things to do to it lol

How did you do front hitch mount? My plans are very close to yours.
