Ok. well... Not sure why they're junk. I've ran aftermarket ignition and coil packs in quite a few vehicles and have yet to see adverse effects. Ignition is a key component in performance. I am by no means saying my ranger is a race car nor do I pretend it is one. Ok maybe sometimes I do lol. That being said I spend alot of time at the track and I have yet to see someone with a performance motor they felt a factory ignition system was sufficient for. If that was the case everyone would shop at the junk yard and not buy msd, accel, etc... Wider plug gaps, and stronger spark imo is not a bad thing. An explaination to support your opinion would be great.
