Well, its official! I got my FordRangerForum.com stickers in today..just need it to NOT rain so I can put them on. 2 white ones, going on the side windows.

To anyone who was wondering, I got my refund for the LED's I returned to SuperbrightLED's, and I am still waiting on the ones I ordered. My email says they were shipped a mere 14 days ago..its been 2 weeks! Come on already!

My brother in-law got his led headllight and we hooked them up. Guess what there was only high beam. the company wired them internall wrong

They work! Not really any hot spots either, I am pretty happy with them. They aren't as bright as I would like..but they are good enough for me! I just need to mod the HVAC to blue..and I should be done. I have to rip my dash ALL back apart again as..well..there is an LED that doesn't work(I have spares) and my headlight switch doesn't light up at all..

lol.

I needed 11, so I ordered 14. Good thing, because one doesn't work..hopefully I can get that fixed.

thanks for the link. as for the one that doesnt work, turn it around. with the regular light bulbs it didnt matter which way you put it in, with leds it matters.

as for the brightness, did you take all the green off the guage faces? try this: take off the faces if you can, and then sand off all the green coating that makes the original backlight green. then reinstall.
i did mine yesterday. only i dont have leds yet so i just colored over mine in red. and a layer of tape over that and another coating of the same color makes it more red and less pink. just use a sharpie.

I didn't take any green off?! HMMMM! That could be the problem..I will certainly look into that. Thanks for the tip! My needles are DARK as can be, like barely visible..is their a way I can change that? Paint them white? Clear needles..? Idk whats the deal with those either.

I'll rip it apart on my next available day, and nice day for that matter(lots of rain).

Alright. Maybe getting the green off will let more light through. What'd you use? Just a fine grit sand paper..or..?
