Re: Operation - DOG RUN!
We have a blacklab/german sheppard. Stance and size of the German though. When we first got him, from the pound, they warned us he hates other animals..were fine with that because we can train of our of that(Which is working). Anyways, one of the first times we got him my Dad bought a crap load of chain, big thick stuff..tied him to our old railing..notice I said old? Ya! He tore the entire railing off the brick and porch to chase down a dog..Hes now tied up to the cemented in basketball post..
Looks like a good build so far, I'd hate to see what he can do if he pulls that thing down !

Re: Operation - DOG RUN!
ok, I picked up some more for the dog run. The normal cable tighteners looked to small and weak, like for a gate or something. So for a couple dollars more, I pick up a top link for a 3pt on a tractor! This will give me my adjustment for as the cable stretches over time. Also picked up grade 8 bolts to bolt everything together. I figure this is the most economical and strengthy way to do it. Plus, its simple.

Re: Operation - DOG RUN!
meh, I figure it was easier than typing "much more stonger" even tho I just typed that, and am typing this post. So in all reality, I would have been better off to just type it the right way to begin with.
