Default Operation Heroes Wish 95 Jeep Wrangler Build pic heavy

Well instead of working on mine this is what I have been up to lately.

This is a Jeep I am helping build for Operation Heroes Wish, it is being built for SFC Charles Adkins' son. SFC Adkins was KIA in Afghanistan and this was bought by him off ebay to be a father son project upon his return from the deployment. We will be completely redoing it and it will be presented at Riverfest by the Mayor of Clarksville. A local Linex will be doing the inside, Maaco will be doing the paint, and SONUS Car Audio will be doing the audio in it.

Here is a local news coverage link-http://www.wsmv.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId= 6089519

FB page- http://www.facebook.com/pages/Operat...32410753445449

If you would like to donate to the cause- http://wish4ourheroes.org/
SFC Adkins

On with the build:
Day 1
Tear down

----------

The rust on this thing was a killer.

Day 2

Rough Country lift kit

----------

Day3
Prepping the new frame for sand blasting and powder coat

----------

Day4

Stripping parts from the old frame for reuse.

Frame back from powder coating

Today's progress:
We got the rearend full put together just have to do a little bit to button it up, the front has been put in also still have the steering to do yet. Its a roller though this is the fun part to finally start to see it come together after all of the hard work that we have put into it.

SO we had a set back the person that was suppose to do the drivetrain decided he didnt have time texted us the day after we dropped it off not even a call. Anyways after much cussing and swearing we found one. Mmmmmm can you guess what drive train we are using Ill wait to post pics when its installed its not a Jeep or Ford product had to go back to my roots on this one.
