Default 04 DD Prerunner
Picked up a Ranger a few weeks ago.

2004
2WD
XLT
3.0
5 Speed
6" RCD lift
35's
Mickey Thompson wheels
4:56 gears


I do a lot of events and races and log a ton of miles. I figured it was about time for me to get something smaller to do some commuting. This truck took a dinger on the passenger side of the bed/cab and shifted the bed over a bit (see pic). That is going to be the biggest thing for me to address along with the suspension. The 35's were just not cutting it for me so I picked up a set of 33" all terrains. I have an awesome idea for the body that has never been done before, I'm going to keep that under wraps for now so no one steals my idea. This thing had a huge sub box with 3 12's taking up the entire extra cab and forcing the seats forward/up. I had to drive home (5 hours) with my knees banging off the dash, my back is feeling it!!!

So the sub box is out, the squeaky rattling bed is temp secured, and it's nice and clean. Time to rip it apart!!!

when are you installing the glass? after all ya kinda have to represent, no?

I'd say within the next month. I'm ring to get ready for a race right now.


Yeah, I do have to represent. My vision of the finished product is why I got a Ranger in the first place.

Yea I can't remember where I saw it (maybe another forum), but I believe he might have sold it. I hope not though I think this would have turned into a badass rig.
