Speedometer issues
I have a 94 ranger XLT. 4 banger, 5 spd. Bought truck and speedometer bounced all around but above 40 or so it would just peg out however, the odometer works just fine. Installed a used speedometer/gauge assembly and now it bounces around from 2mph up to about 25 and then the bouncing slows down a little. It also seems like the speed is not correct but will check tomorrow with GPS and let all know.
Anyway, has anyone had problems with the bouncing and if so what did you do to correct?

Walla! For some reason today it is working just fine...???? I think the speedO is fairly accurate by pacing others today
