now whats this mess about strobes?

Lol I got a strobe kit for it. I end up being the mobile rescue unit for my buddies back home. Anything that makes drivers MOVE AWAY FROM THE BUSTED CAR on the side of the road is a bonus lol

They weren't to bad on price either. They are LED strobes, from what I am understanding they are a little less bright then the standards, but none the less, I'm not to worried about it. Napa can also outfit you with the ones you need. Preston can help you there. I'm going to post a "How To" when I install them as well. Kit came with everything. It's looking like a good set up. Just gotta do it.

In other news...I found a ruggedized smart phone...I'm debating, I want it though!

Got a custom tube bumper...need to install after paint...debating, Line-x, powder coat, or customize the bumper some more and bolt it on. Got it from a memeber here, he does great work. I'd suggest him anyday for bumpers, I know he does skid plates.

Almost forgot...couple other suprises thanks to Drew. Still looking for a couple things but I'll get there.

I need a Tan panel for under the steering wheel if someone is heading to a junkyard. I'll pay cost plus shipping with a little extra thrown on top for time spent pulling. I cut a hole in mine to mount a light switch, now I am going to make a switch panel when I get the console I am looking for.

Anyone have an electric fan that covers the entire radiator on their truck? I want one, but I'd like to see one first.

I wanted to see clearance from engine to fans etc. I've installed a few of them myself, but I always like to double check, truck is my DD, so I can't down it, and I don't want to take any big leaps on the truck till I get my GMC out here and I have another rig to drive

Lol I just picked up two VW diesels...so that may be awhile, but parting them out I may gain the money to do that. I am trying to lift two trucks right now lol This stuff sucks! I have to make decisions like this! I also bought a mini van...that I was going to use for work...but that may change now. I have to many cars!

Oh and I'll probably get in trouble for this being a really old thread...but it's my build thread

You have no idea. Just ended a subcontract I had with a friends company. He was paying me horribly, and giving me crap machinery to work with. I just picked up a good contract doing some work for my father. So it ought to be interesting. And now I have a Hoopty, 2 vw diesel's to rebuild, 2 trucks to lift, and a minivan to see if I even need to keep...or sell off for some money after I clean it up really well!
