i started easy, oil changes and that sort of thing. when i put my lift spindles on i had never done wheel bearings before so i was a bit nervous, but these forums and how-to's here and on youtube are a great resource.

i'm no professional when it comes to working on cars though, i still have tons to learn. hell at the off road shop i'm in the front office most of the day taking care of the paperwork and whatnot, or helping the CNC operators de-burr or box up parts that don't even have to do with cars.

You can if you want to risk it. Im pretty sure the bars in the front window make it not street legal because they obstruct the view. I may be wrong I dont know, but im pretty sure thats a no in california. Looks awesome though.

it's all about how you register the truck, i've had a buddy get a similar ticket but got it dismissed. since it's registered as a commercial vehicle, you can argue that there's no difference between this truck and something like this:

ok, Im going to do my first oil change on the truck soon. Ive been looking at the spindle lift how tos and stuff, just trying to learn about the stuff they guy that owned the truck before me put into it.

That cool, I was thinking about it and I remembered ive seen a truck at my school with a full cage with bars up front.

Um pretty much how your bars are run, like where they go into the dash, how the cross bars in the back are set up, I'm just kinda curious of how other people have gone about this, because i want to keep as much as my interior stock as possible (want to keep the same dash, try to keep my ohc)

Glad to see someone do a 3.0 and no one telling you how under power it is tough engine and you are doing the right things keep up the good work.

thats because i know how under powered it is first hand. no one needs to tell me. had i known a bit more about rangers before buying, i'd have a 4.0 sitting in both trucks.
