Yeah I would probably fill it back in. A piece of fiberglass would be best but you could use expanded metal or angle.

We took his 03 powerdome and cut the front to convert it to the 04-up style grill and the cut the back so it would be sort of like a cowl induction hood. I can't find the picture of the back but I found the day we cut the front.

Scott was always doing something to his Ranger. Superlift, 3" bodylift, 33's, and manual transfer case....

What's the hardest part about changing the rear timing assembly on the 4.0 sohc my old lady's expo has been ticking since it was given to her and our mechanic says that he needs a special tool to change the rear chain in it. Not sure what's so different about the tool.

This is my 3rd time doing it without the special tools. The kit has about 6 tools to hold everything into position when you set the timing. Tomorrow I'll post up my method of how to do it without them. Basically you have to be sure your in time whenever you tighten anything up, not think it's in time but be sure. It's not as complicated as it seems.

Cool cause I gotta get this thing fixed. It's driving us nuts. And I really don't wanna pay an arm and a leg to have it done.
