Well i figured why not i been messing with the ranger so i may as well make a project log on it..

First a lil history on the truck and what has been done to it before now..

Truck was bought brand new in April of 98 or 99 cant remember the year lol. It had 11 miles when we picked it up It was suppose to be a second truck in case the main truck had problems.

I ended up getting the truck when i turned 18 from my dad as my ride. It has gone through a couple stages sense then mostly just sound systems and lighting.

I have replaced both leaf spring and shackles i ended up getting the tranny rebuilt when it had around 98000 miles on it. I did a top end rebuild on the motor i blew a head gasket around the same time i did the tranny.

Truck has been in a couple wrecks but all of that got fixed by the insurance company. None of the wrecks was my fault the first one i was parked the second one i was driving out a paring lot and someone backed out and hit me.


The truck now has 128000 on it and i figured it is time to put some work in to her and get it looking good again.

First thing i did was pull out all of the interior and clean it up here is some before and after pics..

Both door and some of the trim was painted black i wanted to go back to grey so i had to strip it all done

I cleaned the carpet also.

I am replacing the 60/40 seats with Explorer Eddie Bauer buckets.. Here is the seats.



Got all the wires ran for the seats.. You can also see the rust that i will be fixing here soon in this pic..

In the works is an Explorer full length console and FX4 Or sport Trac 5 spoke rims.

Thank you it took a while and alot of scrubbing but it looks 100% better now..

The one thing i love about this truck is she will clean up nice. I plan to clay bar it and give er a good polish and wax. I live on dirt roads i bet i travel 90% dirt roads in the summer time most of the time my driving on highways are just crossing...


Just really need to get rid of them rims and get the new ones..

Oh yea i also want to paint the grey valance and bumper trim black. May try Plasti dip on them tho..
