I like the polished ones, but for your truck and the "theme" you got going on, I'd say keep the black ones

nothing at all, theyre less than a year old. just gonna need to plan for new ones down the road and might spice it up, maybe some dark purple powdercoat or something....
got the old spindle snout pressed out last night, pressed out both of the replacements from the spindles i pulled at pnp, and pushed one into the burg spindle. all good as new. just waiting for my ebc brakes to show up then i can put my baby all back together

everyone seems to be consistent on wanting to see black remain.. haha

No to chrome. You can't leave the dark side.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
the parts runner, was def glad to get the dust blown out of this thing again. ran like a top.
anyone remember when i nailed the sentra on my way to work? well i never fixed my truck after that accident, finally figured i might as well paint it.
old snout out, new one out and in the freezer, helps to have it "shrunk" and greased when pressing it in.
good as new

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
not so much the stiffer ride, but the stiffer spring rate. i beat up my burg coils pretty good and they sag alot now. fabtechs dont sit much higher much it is what it is. cant wait to just have a coilover and swap rates whenever i want. MT blows.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
well i got her all put back together last night. set her down on the wheels right around 11, grabbed the keys to go take it for a spin and CLICK. wouldnt start. she was probably mad and moody cause i left her in such a sad state. jumped it and drove it to work today. holy hell does EBC make a good product, kept my same used pads, but changed to the slotted rotor and whoah what a difference. cant wait to throw in some greenstuff pads and see what else changes.
found the rack has seen better days and will need to be replaced, but i knew it was coming eventually. ive had the replacement sitting in a box all summer long. i'll try to get some pictures posted up today of all the changes.
