I put ebc usr series slotted rotors on the front of my truck, noticed less dust on my wheels and stopped better than stock with 33s

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
i was going to get the ebc slotted rotors, but ended up going with bocsh upgrades instead. cheaper, warrantied as long as i dont go metal to metal on the pads. mine stopped so much better. looking forward to having disks all around.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
so i got the calipers, i wanted to pull them myself so i could make sure nothing got damaged or lost. the calipers showed up in a few pieces, including the spring or something was off the caliper. not sure if that wil be an issue till later on tonight (picked them up on my way in to work this morning). rotors are still useable but i have a hookup on cheap new rotors so i will be going with those instead. prob sell these ones and my calipers with the spare 8.8 im getting.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
nope. ranger 8.8 is what i have, 28 spline rear end found in the 4x4s (mine has factory L/S), the second one i am picking up is another stock 8.8 with 3.73s and idk yet if it is open or not. both came stock with drums, mine will make it out of this with mustang disks in the rear.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
not buying, its a freebie from a buddy. anyway, getting it so i can mock up the disks and brackets before i go hack off the drums on my running and driving dd truck.. to make sure i dont end up waiting on parts and i cant end up going to work. seems like alot more work but itll be worth it. he might have some other goodies he is willing to lemme have. one more hour of work, im fuckin tired of this!

Nice! That is smart. How come you are doing the mustang brake mod vs. just finding an expo 31 spline?

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
if i had to regear another rear end, i would do a narrowed 9in or an expo rear end. there are a few reasons why i chose to build this one instead..
1) it was already geared to 4.56 with a limited slip, i got an amazing deal on it, couldnt pass it up.
2)mustang brakes have more options availible for upgrades over the expo setup.
3) it is loads easier to hook up the parking brake on a mustang brake setup rather than the expos. would be nice to have the peace of mind with 31 spline shafts but oh well. i wont be doing anything too crazy. oh, and chromo's, cant get them for my 28 spline but you can get them for the 31 spline rear ends. shit. haha

You need 3 threads. A project thread, a BS thread (Dogs???), and a questions about Morgan's truck thread.
I saw you mentioned wanting D35 spindles earlier... Did you mean from a TTB ranger?
