I'll chime in a bit. My best friend runs the falkens on all his cars, and he lives in the middle of nowhere on dirt. I am very familiar with how they perform vs. my old 32" BFG A/T's and this is what I'll say.
1. The BFG's hold grip on dirt roads way better, they have less tendency to slide it seems. Could be a good or bad, depending on your desires to drift or not haha.
2. The falkens are a much quieter smoother on-road tire
3. Falkens IMO look like a street tire, which = bad to me.
3. In mud both suck, but again the falkens slide and slip more it seems
4. Both seem to last plenty long

I to live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by dirt roads and gravel roads.
I to personally ran both tires. not my best friend. me personally.
1. my falkens were way better than BFG's on dry dirt, and gravel. have to actually try to get sideways with the falkens. didnt have to try hard at all with the bfg's
2. yes, they are. much.
3. hardly look like a street tire. and dont act like one either.
4. yes, they both suck in DEEP mud. my personal experience, falkens were better. had better steering control, and cleaned out better. maybe its due to different types of mud. we have clay mixed in our mud here.
5. my bfg's didnt last quite as long. tread was chunking thanks to all the gravel roads. falkens still look brand new after 10,000 hard miles. couldnt say the same for the BFG's however they did last quite a while. just chunked lots.

then you, young man, suck at driving. which i guess shouldnt surprise me, you are just a young kid who im guessing doesnt have the utmost experience.
but ive been throug ha foot of mud in 2wd with my truck. tires cleaned out fine with a bit of wheel spin.
then again, im talking about actual mud, not whatever that crap is in your pic.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
why dont you come frame your truck in some prosser mud and we'll see how good your driving is? easy to talk shit with a keyboard bud. not getting falkens again. nvm just looked, youre from canada. your argument is already invalid. haha.

No arguing, just talking on my end
I should have added that I drive his cars all the time, which include a new Tacoma, F250, and Jeep. All of which have the falkens, and they are all tail happy with the tires. I could go quite a bit faster and still hold grip than he can in any of the three.
No clay here, but the mud looks just like your picture so there shouldn't be much of a difference. Again it doesn't really matter because both sucked in the mud, but neither of us ever got stuck.
As for the 5th point, yes I forgot to talk about chunking. Obviously there is non of that with the falkens due to the tread design, but my BFG's chunked like crazy from mild offroading. I didn't think to mention it however because they are an old set, so I cannot say for sure if that falls in line with a new fresh set. The falkens "aggressive" tread on the other hand disappears in a fairly short time (talking about all the cross sipping etc) diminishing their effectiveness more drastically than with a more tradition A/T like the BFG's. Pluses and minuses I guess haha
For what its worth, I now have KM2's and they are far and away my favorite tire. The offroad performance obviously utterly destroys either A/T, and they look infinitely more epic haha. Stepping up to 33's with the KM2's was one of my best decisions yet

the fact that you do that to a stock truck and think youre cool makes you retarded.
