I remember a member on here used f-250 leafs instead of the chevys and he had a picture of a bed full of gravel and almost no sag

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
overloads do help with that, but im not sure a chevy OL leaf is going to solve your problem.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
lost a caliper bolt yesterday on my way home from fairfield (daily commute for work), felt the calipers sliding forward and moving due to only 1 bolt. pulled over and 1 was gone, the other was very lose, forgot to loctite them last time i was down there. luckily i keep spares in the toolbox and was able to be on my way. to anyone with lift spindles etc, grab a set of caliper bolts off a ranger or mustang at the junkyard and pocket em, worth keeping around for something like this. youll also wanna hold onto a 15mm socket.

This happened to me on a long drive it sounded so bad I pulled over and all I had was a ziptie it worked till I got home.

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
So are the caliper threads tapped too loose on the aftermarket spindles?

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
no i think it has to do with the constant motion of braking and the forces work the bolts back and forth till they get loose. loctite seems to be the best defense.

We used the green loctite on a bike pedal that fell of every ride (even with normal multi purpose loctite) and it hasn't come off yet. That the "I never want this fucking shit to come off loctite" lol
