Yeah that's where we got our ideas. Just don't have the money to build is all.

leaning towards my lay down tire gate just cause it will look better than the single standup swing gate will without the camper being on.

----------

oh and also i found a gash in the sidewall of the spare i just bought... dont buy things at night. luckily hes a cool guy and we hit it off when i picked up the spare. hes into VORRA racing as well and had a couple sportsman class buggies. should be swapping it out for another 33 this weekend hopefully.

the offset on those sucks but since its a spare i guess it doesnt matter. make sure it clears the spindles.

$10 i cannot complain a 15x8 and find a Craigslist 31" tire then the build begins. Look what you have got me to do lol

EDIT-
I want to paint mine silver, I think it might contrast my truck. I feel like you might have spawned more ideas...

did the chevy 64s on saturday, took all day, ran into some problems drilling out the rivets. in the end it was all worth it. the truck rides great, havent had a chance to stretch it out yet. ended up with 3 of the half ton chevy leafs and the smallest leaf from my explorer pack. no overload. still have to go back and paint a few things. she sits with a little cali lean now that i took the blocks out.

(new corners)

possibly in the fall ill grab another set of 64s and build them with the ranger and xj leafs ive collected and have them arched a bit with a shackle flip.

are the chevy springs wider? Bc I want to build a set of leaf springs for all the weight I have been hauling recently. Maybe just throw some chevy overloads on my stock leaf pack?

just add another leaf from the expo pack or re-arch the 64's.

and a tip for next time. use a zip disk on a angle grinder and cut the head 3/4 way off. the hammer and flat head will pop it right off.
