I have never bothered lubing a uniball. For bushings, I use waterproof marine grease. At the shop we have some green Lucas Xtra Heavy Duty grease thats slicker than snot.

im surprised haha, the "holy grill." I personally dont like the look, but if you color match the surround I bet it would look amazing. Silver truck and black grill = XL model in my mind, no matter how epic it looks. But than again that's what you truck is, so maybe you want to keep it as homage to the base model

I used liquid wrench teflon grease than dries into like a white powder... got it from autozone for like $6 and it works great as far as I can tell. I just cleaned the uniballs with water and a rag, and sprayed the stuff on top/bottom while cycling the suspension. I used it on the bushings too just for the heck of it since they make the most noise and it helped there as well, but obviously a better option would be legitimate grease.

considering painting it silver next go round, the clear coat didnt come out as well as id like. but it will suffice for meow. holy grill hahaha.

and thanks guys ill grab some of the marine grease, waterproof i like, and some of the teflon stuff for the uniballs. a buddy is gonna make me an ebrake bracket for the chevy 63s this weekend so that will make all my new rear end gear install smoother.

Nope, I saw it. Well, I thought I saw it have an STX grille, but in the pic the bars don't look painted. Almost all the ones I've seen (no matter what color the truck is) the bars are like a deep dark gray/silver-ish type of paint.

Or am I wrong?
