Too bad Level II rear axles were discontinued before disk brakes became avaliable. That would be the ultimate in sought after axles.

I saw you mentioned wanting D35 spindles earlier... Did you mean from a TTB ranger?
yes, you can pull the snouts and use them on fabricated spindles for more strength. kinda want the bigger 44 snouts though..

Ok, so if you used a D35 snout, how would you seal the ends? They dont exactly accept dust caps. The original setup uses flang-mount 4x4 hubs to cap off the ends.

I like bolt-ons. I would have to pay to have somebody to weld new shock mounts and spring perches.

kinda wanna throw the shell on for shits and gigs this weekend. but itll be that much more work taking it off when i go to do my 63s.. which needs to happen soon, hopefully before the pismo meet (22-23rd of june for anyone interested). also, if i do 63s the disk swap will have to wait till i can fab a bracket for the ebrake cable. which should i do first? springs or brakes?

a little to do list before the meet:

disk brakes
chevy 63s
cb/pa setup
paint grill
new uniballs
new bushings
alignment
oil change
flowmaster 44 offroad edition dumped
possible tranny flush
possibly tint if i have spare cash..
and last i need to detail the f outta this slooter..

its beyond tempting to do the disks first, but with a bent main leaf on one side the 63s on my porch are calling my name.
