but with all that performance stuff it sucked fuel while begging to be shifted at 5k haha. so now its set to economy and being driven with a light foot, got 100miles into a fresh tank and only a 1/4 is gone. not bad so far. 33s, 4.56s, and a tuner is working out.

I've heard horror stories about the economy tune. Leans out the motor and can cause it to die. That would suck if it happened again.

You are just filled with horror stories aren't you? OMG your km2's will destroy themselves OMG your tuner will kill your truck... What's next? I'd like to know before I make another purchase and you chime in with how bad it is/can be. Please save me the unwanted scare...

Well seeing as I was in a truck when the tread separated on a km2, and Morgan has already had the motor replaced in his truck once... Would you err on the side of caution or would you just dgaf?

Off the shelf tuners are never the best thing for your vehicle. Just like a CAI is a waste of money. You can hook the truck up to a diagnostic computer with the tune loaded and see exactly what it changes. In this case, it leans the motor out which for prolonged experiences is not good.

DGAF to stick with the bro lyfe. I love my km2's and can't wait to get a tuner after the axle is worked out. Heard nothing but good things about both apart from your comments

Re: Morgan's 2004 ranger
^^haha thanks. i love that picture.
reset my tuner to what the tire actually measures, which is just a hair over 32in, had it set at 33 and noticed the speedo was off. all back on track now, it said before i was getting 22mpg which i knew was bs. waiting to kill this tank to see the actual mileage results.
