got a tuner recently, and i love it. got the superchips flashpaq, bought it used but unlocked and up to date. set it to the performance and the truck had noticeable throttle response and hp. as well as the speed limiter disappearing, always fun

but with all that performance stuff it sucked fuel while begging to be shifted at 5k haha. so now its set to economy and being driven with a light foot, got 100miles into a fresh tank and only a 1/4 is gone. not bad so far. 33s, 4.56s, and a tuner is working out.

Mine is the opposite performance tune is awesome the economy lugs my engine hard.

Yea on ethanol free gas on the highway I hit 21 mpg. It works just needs to be flat highway. I run the performance tune in the city

for my gas, I normally get 100 miles for the first quarter, then from 3/4ths to 1/4th I get another 100, and then my last 4th tends to get 100 before the fuel light comes on, Im happy with it like it is, but Im glade to hear that there are some benefits from a tuner, I always heard mixed results.

of course Im running 32"s with 4.10.
