since the kit was posted publicly already ill tell ya that the owner paid $300 for it, full kit f/r with shocks. just have to work out shipping for him when i get the truck back.

ahhh ok I see, sounds sweet though, Im liking lowered trucks more and more, as long as they arnt full sized that is, see what too many of those here in the ghetto :P

well, not sure what Im going to do about my front end now... talked to Brandon from BTF, he said they dont really do shock hoops and the crossbar unless they do the full install...

he wants the fat check for doing the install...I forgot how much they want but its quite a bit iirc. How were you going to weld on the shock hoops etc. originally?

lol maybe I need to make a plan thread, since its not really a build yet...

its 1600 for install from brandon, everything is taken care of besides the actual A-arms and upers.

I was just going to have him fab up the shock hoops and the cross bar, and then I do the whole install myself, which Im really looking forward to doing, and Id fab up the hoops myself, but I have a great lack of tools for such things, and a slight lack of knowledge.

@ Tanner, welding it together isnt hard if you know how to weld, you just have to remove some stuff off the frame, measure it all to line up and your good to go, if I remember right for us Tbar guys the only thing you have to remove is the shock bucket, and the stock bump stop.

exactly my point, it doesn't take much at all to install on an edge model... certainly no where near $1600 worth of labor. I asked just to see if you had planned on welding it yourself or had someone planned.

That includes materials, alignment, and everything needed to drive the truck home or straight to the dirt. It may not seem like a lot to you, but after materials, time, etc. I doubt he's even making much profit. It's one thing to do it yourself with some friends when all you have to do is buy beer and pizza, another when you need to make a living off it.
