Cool Alexx_ 2004 3.0 Edge Build [PIC HEAVY]

Just joined the forum here after purchasing my first truck about a month ago. 1st Ranger 1st Truck
Starting this thread as a personal build journal for me to keep up with. Feel free to follow along or provide some feedback. Thanks.

Stats:
Year: 2004
Color: Black (Gray/Black Interior)
Submodel: Edge
Body: Supercab Styleside
Engine: 3.0 V6
Transmission: 2WD Automatic

Purchased April 2020
127,000 miles
Mods already done:
XD Series Rims with Firestone Destination A/T Tires
Rhino Spray-on Bed Liner

Not sure what else has been modded or came stock, but it came with complete rubber/vinyl flooring (no carpet ), and bucket seats.

Mods I've done so far:

Painted the chrome window weather strip/moulding to a matte black.
Replaced the air filter with a K&N panel filter.
Did the airbox mod while I was in there, along with properly cleaning the MAF, Intake tube, TB, and IAC.
Also cleaned the valves and cylinders and fuel system.
Used Berryman's 4-Step Air & Fuel System Maintenance Kit. Easy to use stuff to perform some minor maintenance on a 127k mile truck with unknown previous owners.

Mods to-be done:

Engine:
Clean MAF, TB, IAC completed
Engine and Oil treatment completed
Airbox Mod completed
K&N Filter completed
Throttle Cable Mod completed
Cat-Back Exhaust System
Replace Camshaft Position Synchronizer (at 127k I'm not sure if it's ever been changed yet)
Switch from manual fan to electric (still debating this one)

Body:
Paint Window bottom weatherstrip completed
Tint Windows
De-Badge all decals and logos (trying to keep the honeycomb grille though)
Replace mirrors with '06+ model
Paint Job (keeping it black, hood has faded along with parts above the back window)
Grill Guard or Push Bar
Replace Headlights + Taillights + Sidemarkers
Replace 3rd Break Light
Add Running Boards
Add Tow Hitch Bumper Guard and Step
Add Side Bar Rails on the bed
Replace Antenna with low-profile one completed
Replace Back Window silicone weatherstrip (faded and warped in some spots)
Restore Plastic trim pieces

Interior:
Steering Wheel Cover completed
Seat Covers completed
Minor Dyna-Mat soundproofing
Vinyl Wrap certain trim pieces

Audio/Electronics:
Upgrade Radio
Upgrade Speakers
Backup Camera
Dash Camera
Install Subwoofer + Amp

Did the Throttle Cable Mod the other day. Noticeable difference for sure.

Engine is handling smoothly and performing well since cleaning the MAF and TB, as well as the new K&N filter. Feels almost new.

Switched out my antenna today to update the truck's look. Replaces the long, bendy, old style antenna with a 5.5inch low-profile one. Ended up getting getting one in the shape of a .50 caliber bullet. Matte black with Carbon Fiber. Simple mod that makes a difference but hardly ever seen done.

Picked mine up from https://antennax.com/ for $30.

I understand all the mods except the "Engine and oil treatment" mod.
What is that one?

It is just an additive you add to your engine oil and gas tank to clean up any carbon buildup. There's a bunch of brands out there that offer this. I ended up using the "Berryman's" brand. They have a 4 step kit I used that included a MAF cleaner, TB cleaner, Intake/Engine cleaner, and a gas treatment. You can find it here -> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I recently bought the truck at 127k miles, and even though the engine bay looks clean and drives well, I don't know how the previous owners treated her. So, not much of a "mod", but just some extra maintenance.
