If anybody needs more Preludes, it's you. You've only had 3-1/2.

I would like it more if it was a little lower and had a duck tail spoiler like the black one.

It must be the wheels on the grey one that do it for me

Toyota makes one of those now too. I think it is a gt 86. They look good with the rocket bunny kit.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
Toyota dissolving Scion was a good move, since I never liked the name Scion and would have put Toyota badges on my FRS anyway. lol.

just buy a BRZ. Then you have Subaru badges to go with the Boxer engine

There's no price difference, and locally, there aren't many BRZ's. It would be easier to find an FRS.
I could care less about the Subaru engine in the FRS. My Ranger has a Mazda designed transmission. Doesn't bother me a bit.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
So my stock shifter started to come apart. No better time for an upgrade than that.
I'm in love with this thing. Should have done it years ago. Killed two birds with one stone too because the Hurst shift boot fit my third gen console perfectly. lol.

Can't remember. Did you sell all your level 2 stuff or still have it?

Sold it all shortly after I gave up on the 4x4 swap.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
What did you do to vent the Hurst? Why do you give up on the 4 by 4 swap?

Cut a notch in the mounting plate.
Couldn't find a t-case or transmission, and then the passenger side inner axle stub popped out of the carrier and started chewing up the axle bearing. Just ditched it all since I don't even offroad. Only reason I even started the 4x4 swap was because I was looking for things to do on the truck and thought it would be a good idea.
My buddy is doing it on his truck, and he dropped $500 on just the extension housing and output shaft to covert his 4x2 trans. No thanks.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
Well I've come to an important decision in my life. For six years now I've had two trucks. My Ranger, and my F150. I already had the F150 for two years when I bought my Ranger, and I've basically put it on the backburner these last six years.
With deciding to get a new car to replace the Ranger as a daily driver, the problem of having three vehicles arose. I don't need three vehicles, and so I knew one of the trucks would have to go. I have thought about selling the F150 in the past, but I like that truck way too much to just give up on it.
As for the Ranger, I've always had a love/hate relationship with it. It's getting up there in mileage now, and I can honestly say that if something were to happen to it, be it another accident or a mechanical failure, I have no interest in fixing it. Which tells me that the vehicle that needs to go is the Ranger.
I still have some things planned for it in the mean time until I get the FRS, but once I get the F150 running I'll be saying goodbye to the Ranger.
