I'll get that one taken care of this week.
These will get me by until I upgrade to 35's and new rims.

Why not just upgrade to 35s?

$400 and I needed tires NOW. My old set was dry-rotted and just worn out.
I'm focusing on moving out so I didn't want to blow $1k on new tires and $300 on new gears just yet.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
Once I get the new wheels and tires I'll sell these off. I'm not expecting to go past 10k with them.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
Terrible picture, but black headliner to match the carpet. Probably gonna paint the OHC surround since it sticks out more than I'd like.

I redid the headliner because I thought the light gray always looked terrible with my dark gray interior. Now the OHC looks terrible. lol.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
So I've never been a huge fan of the 2nd gen Expo consoles because they're cheaply made and make way too much noise. I was at the junkyard last weekend and started eyeing the consoles in the 3rd gen Explorers. I noticed they were all in great shape, and none of them had garbage armrests like the 2nd gen consoles always have. So I said screw it and bought one.
I didn't realize until after I removed the console that I had stumbled across an ultra rare 2002 manual trans XLS Explorer. They only offered them for one year, and the consoles are apparently hard to find.
It wasn't a direct bolt in, and the front of the console doesn't match the contour of the dash. It's really not that bad of a mismatch, and I'll eventually make a filler panel to fill the gap. The console is wider, so I had to re-do the pre-tensioner mounts on my Expo seats to make the seat belts sit closer to the seat. This was a blessing because the new setup I made feels much stronger than the old setup. Cleared just enough room to fit the console.
I did the mod while I was out of town, so I only have a crappy cell phone pic. I'll get better ones later.

nice! I didn't like the second-generation consoles either. That looks great though

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
This one feels ten times more stable than the older consoles. No noise, supports my weight just fine, and looks nicer. Just an all around better console.
