I'm gonna get a regular shorty console. I've already bought 3 other shorty consoles, but kept selling them because I didn't want to cut my seats up. Now I'm actually gonna get one and install it. lol.

Ah nice. I had a full console but switched over to the shorty. I love it. About time them haha! Hope you can find a clean one. I got lucky and found one pretty much mint in a square body explorer.

Well, that's what I was looking for, but I found a shorty console today at the junkyard. Only cost me $5.

I ended up piecing it together. The aluminum bracket came from a 94 Explorer, while the actual console came from a 99 Explorer.
I still need to find an armrest though. I can get the cloth ones all day long, but I want the correct vinyl one. I've only ever found one vinyl armrest locally, and I sold it on one of my chicken out sales.

Re: Sticks-2003 Ranger Edge
You have a body lift? Remove that floor and the trans cover in the floor when you pull the trans so much easier to get to the top bolts.

Nope, I'm all suspension.
I'm sure the top two trans bolts will be nothing compared to the top two pedal assembly bolts that I'm currently screwing with.

Swapping pedal assemblies is one of the worst things I've ever had to do on the truck. It would be better if there was room, but there isn't any.

Yea I'm gonna be looking at $1k when all is said and done.
Start buying pieces one at a time. Hell, I'm pretty sure I already have the shifter for your truck.
