As with any project it has to have a beginning. This is Brian's (black04ranger)99 project truck that is kinda a leftover project from his 04 project. Basically he wanted a bigger motor in his 04, it was a 3.0 and he wanted a 4.0 Well he ended up putting his 04 on a 4wd frame. After finishing his 4x4 conversion he had the 04 2wd frame sitting there in good condition so he put this 99 body on it. He made the decision to convert the 99 to all 04 electronics since he had most of the needed pieces. He was having some dificulties with the wiring and that's where I came into the picture. I agreed to help him finish the wiring and paint the truck. In the mean time he also decided to do some upgrades like converting the 99 doors to power, adding an OHC, and a 06 conversion on the front end. Well I finished all the wiring this morning and started on the body work. After finishing the wiring I pulled it outside and took some pics...

Sorry to keep everybody waiting on an update but wet sanding is boring and doesn't look like progress in pictures....lol Well Brian wanted me to do an update with the bodywork pictures. Well I had more rust than I expected which makes the process a lot longer. Is there such a thing as too many pics????
Iit's the right way to do it, but it's an extra step...here's a teaser. Hopefully by this evening it will be all blue but I have something to do this morning.
