if this was on facebook, i would "like" it.
and just my 2 cents, i wouldn't paint it the flat burgundy color, because it almost looks like rust so in my opinion, it just takes away from all the hard work you've obviously done because it looks like it's rusty. i'd go with a blue. either way, this is gonna look bad ass when it's finished. Any timeline as to when it might be finished?

Well, I'm actually going a different route. Its going to be a L O N G truck. I have a 223 CI inline 6 with a 3 spd...
PROGRESS!!! I've been trying to find a cab to start my single cab vtruck that I can cruise until I can get the rest of the stuff together for my crewcab. Searching craigslist, asking friends, asking neighbors, driving down old roads... I found nothing. Yesterday, randomly, I decide to check out craigslist real quick and I find a 47-53 chevy cab top for 60 bucks. I immediately call and offer 40 if I get it that night, luckily he said yes. I sweet talked the wife into the deal and she finally broke in (with the agreement that I clean the house for 2 months straight). Without further ado...   Looking at it, I find that the cab is 10" wider at the windshield than the bug is. Here, I am starting to mark cut lines.      Started cutting, decided that I will cut it in 2 sections and make different cuts such as the cowl panel (which I will be reusing as I want this as long as I can) the dash, the roof, etc.   Cut it square so I can reweld it later on.    Sans dash
