you have given me some good ideas for interior mods. i have never liked that the dome light doesnt have an option to turn it on and off except for the dash.
with the block lift in the back did you just crank the torsion bars? and did you get an pro alignment after?
Didnt do a block lift in the rear.

I did crank torsion bars and yes had an alignment.

So are the blocks between the axles and leaf springs stock? My ranger has the same thing plus and an extra leaf. I'm also asking because my torsion bar adjustments aren't even and I don't want to kill my CVs and ball joints.

Yes on the edge model fx4 and I belive 4wd trucks have the blocks stock.

If you dont wanna kill ball joints dont touch the tbars. I did mine and they lasted 6 years before replacing ball joints.

Interesting. What do you think about leveling kits with new porkchops and such? Still have ball joint issues?

The body lift wasn't hard to install?

Never heard reviews of them. Stay away from aftermarket keys they are a waste.

Lift was easy to install with 4 others guys.

I've been reading all the posts on this and I'm looking to do some of these mods to my ranger. I want to do the body lift as well, I'm curious where you got yours and if it came with all the proper extensions for the steering column, and raising the bumpers? Also I read you cranked your tbars. I've done that as well about 6 months ago to put larger tires on the truck. I'm curious if you have noticed anything now? One last thing. I have an old 97 explorer with the roof temp sensor and compass. What did you all have to do to make that work? You have a nice truck man and you have put a lot of work in. It looks great and your thread has helped a lot.

Came from www.summitracing.com I used the 98-2000 kit and it fit perfectly. You will need a shifter extension if it is a 5 speed.

If you get an alignment you will be fine if not 6 months you may have messed your tires up really good.

I did mine a long time ago and just had to replace ball joints last year.

You need the console about 5 feet of the wiring off the plug in or all of it since you have the vehicle right there. Temp sensor off the front bumper mounting bracket.

You have to cut a whole in the headliner and run wires to certain spots.

Here is a how to http://www.fordrangerforum.com/inter...e-install.html

Awesome thank you. I got an alignment immediately after I cranked them so everything should be fine. Just curious how long the front end lasts after it cuz I've been getting some vibration at higher speeds and I put new wheel bearings in right before winter

Nice that is longer than I expected. May do them anyway cuz I think it has been awhile. I never even thought of balancing them.

STL, You have a fucking beautiful truck..

Also love you keep "STL" (Cardinals) all the way through!!

I'm just impatiently waiting for the 2014 squad to get off their thumbs and Gel, only significant loss from '13 was Beltran. No reason we shouldn't be tearing up the NL right now..
Anyways, Beautiful truck (again)
