yeah it really needs painted, some panels are too far gone, but the owner already dumped a ton of money into it and probably doesnt have or doesnt want to be putting anymore in it, he doesnt want use to fix the head gasket now. We did find out a little while ago that he had the engine replaced a couple years ago. If thats the case, im not sure if its a mitsu or CAT diesel.

We got it running without the c-frame to test the clutches, bad news. 1st, his batteries are junk, 2nd, rust hole in the fuel tank and 3rd, no reverse at all. So my friend is gonna try to weld a patch plate on the fuel tank, and we are going over the transmission linkage, we also got the metal to fab up the blade mount. I also Got to crawl under and drill out a busted bolt that held in a c-frame pin. We are skipping the head gasket job too, the owner spent all his money up.

Well while I was busy getting other things done my friend got some JB weld on the pin holes. The metal that will get welded on the c-frame will be getting machined out next week, within in this week the busted blade mount will be torched off.

The good news keeps coming, 1st off we found a small injector nozzle leak, and the machine shop hasn't even started on the metal piece yet, in fact they said they wont start until after spring break. Reason, well they dont have the exact specs, they are looking for hair thin specs to cut, which is absofuckinglutly ridiculous, all they need to do is machine out the damn shape we traced on the damn metal but noo we need teh specs. So now there is not enough time to machine it out anyway so we are just gonna have CAT send us one if they can, or grab the biggest torch we can and cut it out ourselves. This would have been done by now.....

UPDATE-Turns out there was no injector leak, and all hydraulic leaks have been solved. We noticed minor clutch slippage while going up a snow bank in reverse. The brakes were adjusted and are working fine. We also got new batteries put in. We had the blade mount cut out with a cutting torch in the welding shop, the instructor said he had a hell of a hard time doing it but got it done. Me and my friend got the slag off of it and smoothened out the very rough spots. Then my friend cut the corners with the band saw. Then my other friend got it welded on. So all we have to do now is drill out a busted bolt, and put the c-frame and blade on and test it out.
