it all depends on which way you flip them. upside down you lower the other way you lift.

Awesome! This might be dumb..but how does this lift your truck, so to speak? I was looking into a body lift..but if these, and the T-bar crank is all I need to do..then..yeah? Understand?

Look forward to pics !

thats not why it says lowering though. You can lower your truck with your stock shackles if you flip them. i wouldnt Want to flip these shackels upside down. most likely would hit your bed.

...the reason they say lower is because there made for lowering GMC trucks from 88-98. but they work on our rangers because the leaf spring width is the same. These GMC drop shackles are longer that the ranger stock shackle. WHich in turn results in a lift....

They say that the shackle moves your axle forward. I have them on mine with no problems. I didn't measure or check anything before or after nor did I care to. Pat the truck looks great. Came a long way since the first time I talked to you and saw your truck. I've been neglecting mine so I need to get back to it. Whenever your free let me know and I'll drive up for a mini meet.
