Default Custom diamond plate tono cover!
So today I am starting on my new tono cover, the old was is not secure seems how it is vinyl. I will be getting a big 7 drawer toolbox and bolting it in to the bed for all my shit.

I want to be able to lock everything up.

Here is a pic of the general look.

This will be hinged and have gas shocks on the sides.

oh yeah, I just took it off because I have my wiring ran thru the tono cover frame and needed to pull it out.

It there, just dangling! lol

So far I have completed the cover itself. I decided to just use the exsisting tono cover frame.

I used silicone and rivits to fasten the diamond plate to the frame.

I am still working on the false peice that the hinge will sit on.

After that I will install the shocks and the T-handles.

So today I made my false plate that will hold the hinge. I have not got the hinge yet, Im trying to find a stainless steel one.

Got my hinge put on today and made the plate that houses the hinge.

Also installed the shock mounts on the bed rail. Welded them in.

I have to wait until tomaro to mount the upper becuase I don't know how long I need.
