yeah...just happened to have it AFTER i drove home to get it
this bridge is only a mile from my house

still a work in progress...dunno if it would be worth stealing just yet

interior is still a wreck, it drips PS fluid and it drinks gas (re-adjusted the carb, so that problem may be fixed)

i've already locked my keys in it TWICE and i know for a fact it wouldn't be hard to steal though

update:

gonna tackle the driver side spindle bearing this weekend (picked it up today)
it grinds on the driver side when in 4wd...
when i replaced the u-joints i noticed the spindle bearing was non-existent and i'm hoping it is the source of the noise

hopefully that cures it because it was the cheapest route at $15
i didn't wanna drop $100 on a set of hubs or worse...

Thanks guys, that means a lot

a lot of work went into this truck
and it still has a bit more to go, but its come a long way from sitting in a barn waiting for the scrap man to come

mini-update:

got the phone call i've been waiting for today....

the kid that rear ended me finally got the money to pay up....$100 cash

the truck doesn't really need anymore parts....just some TLC and fine tuning
so i put it towards paying off those tires

i might invest in some black and red seat covers though.....

mini-update:

truck runs great
been driving it almost everyday

the spindle bearing was NOT the source of my front end noise....so, back into the front axle i go...gonna replace the carrier bearings the next chance i get

took the Thrush muffler off....got her straight piped and exiting before the rear wheel
the Thrush just wasn't loud enough so i'm gonna get a Magnaflow

and now that its REALLY friggin cold....the bearings in the blower motor decided to give out and it makes one helluva noise unless its on the lowest setting

i've got all the parts to repair everything (except a muffler) sitting in a box....i just need the time and a place to fix it (damn Prius is in the garage taking up valuable space)

and what kind of update would this be without pics...

update:

Front axle noise has been fixed......diff was low on fluid due to a bad pinion seal

blower fan fixed.....i has heat!!

Magnaflow muffler installed and broken in....(sounds tits)

Cooling fan decided to crap out on me last week
so i took it off completely and installed an E-fan

i actually had a day off last week and i sat with a vac gauge and timing light and tuned the carb just right finally....

it ran okay for the past few months but now she screams
gas mileage is a steady 15-17 mpg depending if i can keep my foot out of it

took her on a 200 mile round trip last week...she worked flawlessly (except for the locked up fan)....so i think all the major bugs are gone

just gonna be doing minor things here and there for now until spring....

sorry...no new pics for now
