Fourliter Dan's CB/ LED gauge install

Today Dan came over and we installed his CB Radio, and put LED lights in his cluster.

Dan Figuring out the final mounting of the radio itself.

Running the Coax

Putting the console Back Together

CB Antenna

We put this damn thing in and out about 5 times cause stuff kept getting caught, and we lost a socket down in the void of the Ranger Dash. (which we found after while out on the gravel roads.)

Dan taking the gauge apart so we could clean it.

LED Bulbs we were installing

While Dan was cleaning up behind his gauges, and putting the interior back together, I re-positioned the CB antenna to the side of the box so it could open all the way.

After we finished, we went out for a spin on the local gravel roads.

What I did not get a picture of was the external speaker position, and the final mounting position, due to some metal needing some extra persuasion that we did not have the tools for in the back end of my schools parking lot. I also do not have pictures of the Gauges. Dan should upload those later tonight.

hahaha, there was a lot of "WORK WHORE!" "Son of a BITCH!" "C'mon you little fucker...." and various other phrases resembling those.

Very nice! How is your radio mounted. I have my cb bolted to my ash try and it refuses to stay in.... Everytime I hit a bump it falls out. Also what kind of center console is that?

Dans is a small uniden in the console itself, very out of the way. I had a cobra mounted on the headliner

...buut i did that same thing to my cluster and no hotspots buut how did you unhook the little red wire goin coming from the shifter ?

ok on the bottom of the cluster theres this lil red wire/string thats the shifter cable goin to the cluster how did you take the out i couldnt get mine out so i had to flip it over with it still connected to the wire/cable/stringy thing

Yes it is. That was something he put in earlier this week that he doesnt have a whole lot of pictures of. Lemme see if I can get the pic he sent me of him modding his chair.

yea its a cluster similar to mine dunno how to get mine out but oh well i got my bulbs in

Stu there's little clips on each side of that little piece that if you just squeeze them the gear selector piece slides right out.

IDK. Dan is the one that took that apart haha. Mine was a manual, so I didnt have to deal with it.
