Holy smokes. This is amazing. Where did you pick up your Dana 44?

Im planning on doing a SAS in the future and theres a 1979 Jeep Wagoneer front 44 available that Im wondering if I should snatch up and work on building up, or if I should scout junkywards for something newer?

The work youre doing here is amazing. Im definitely gonna be watching this one.

yeah I figured since I started it I better finnish it

----------

had the tires mounted so figured it was time to start tearing it apart

----------

steering shaft pillow block mount and where i mounted it

plated the frame then mounted the shock hoops ect.

----------

pulled it out and sized it up to my buddy Ryans truck

----------

thought it was to tall so I moved stuff around in my engine bay so I could move the shock hoops up a couple more inches

----------

then I took it out for a 2 wheel test drive

79 waggy is pass drop so that wont work without swapping your tcase, and scouts were also pass drop. You need a 80+ waggy or Ford front D44.
