Probably to clean it up and paint it and change the balljoints, etc...correct?

Nvm, I glanced at it thought it was the front axle.

How difficult was the C clip eliminator kit to install?

update

got some ball joints, spindle bearings, and spindle studs/nuts

Also got a few more tools for the job, torgue wrench, spindle socket and spanner socket, upper and lower ball joint sockets

pressed the studs and ball joints in the knuckles

and replaced the bearings in the spindles

the old

the new

put the rvc shafts togather

took the old threaded inserts out

in with the new

put the knuckles on and grinded down the lower balljoint studs flush with the nut (clearence for the cv boot)

and then dissapointment... Im pretty sure the inner shafts are to long?

it started getting dark I will have to check into it more tomorrow

what are you planning to do wiuth the steering set up? About to start on my own SAS. Been building a parts list for a couple weeks now. Having trouble figuring out how to swap out for steering gear box and what parts to use
