95 Ranger xlt, 4x4 ext cab w/4.0
ok here we go... I believe it was Dec of 04 i was called about 20 miles away for a rollover accident. This truck was sitting on its roof in the middle of the highway. The kid driving it hit some ice and lost control.
Well to make a long story short I ended up with the truck. I thought it would make me a nice lil truck. So i decided to keep it and redo it for myself.
It started with the tear down and stripping it. then i pulled the roof back into place before i cut it off. I then got a donor truck it was a mazda. I used the roof and driver side door off of it, and other misc parts. I had pics of the roof cut off but somehow the got deleted? So I went whole hog on here doing the body work on the cab and started on the bed side. And how most projects go this got moved to the shed and put on the back burner. and thats where she sat until recently.
My Daughter is turning 16 in november. she said she wanted a truck. I said hmmmmm I GOT ONE! took her to the shed and showed her the ranger, lets say at first she wasnt to excited LOL.
I have been working on it pretty steady here lately. I started back getting the bed off and giving it a GOOD cleaning. Then I prep the jams and painted them. Then Got the windshield installed. Then started putting the interior back in it. As i went we cleaned everything as we put it in. If you want good clean carpet take it to a car wash and use a pressure washer on it, it blows all the dirt out. Then I pulled the front off another donor truck i bought. The hood was junk so i couldnt use it. Did repair work on the fenders and smoothed out the emblem holes. then Jammed the fenders. painted the radiator support. Hung the fenders ( not fitted yet) Im useing the rear vent windows off the mazda. this truck will have a visor and cab spoiler. hooked p a cd player , we have different hood its all sanded down and be primed by the end of the day. I would LOVE SOME IDEAS on the paint. main color is indigo blue and i have some silver , just not sure how i want to lay it out . As soon as i figure out to do the pics i'll put em up
