Decided to do a center console cause I dont have a child to put in the middle. Center console came out of a 1994 Ford Explorer with a tan interior. It was in great condition apart from being dirty. I opted for chopping off the middle seat because my current seats are in very good condition and I didnt have very much money to spend.

This is the before picture. As you can see the seats are in good condition, but the center armrest was broken (as almost all are)
The seat is now out
Next, was to take out the foam and cut the metal off. I decided to retain as much fabric as possible, and also removed the center arm rest.
I then put the seat back in, which is now a bucket style. If someone didnt know it was a 60/40 split, it would look oem.
I didnt get any pictures of painting the center console, but it was just degrease to get stains/food off, then sprayable fabric dye to color the arm rest. Put the mounts in and it looks really good. Now I have 4 cup holders too.

Overall it was about a 4 hour process from start to finish, including trouble shooting and bolting everything back together.

Not really much to update. Just got some new fender flares which have to be painted still and a new honeycomb grill. For some reason the badge is way bigger than before and I dont know why, but as long as it fits I guess who cares.

Default IA Transplant's 01 Ranger Build

Painted and put in the new grill. Looks way more modern rather than the old grill. Went from old square one to honeycomb.

Put on a soft tonneau cover from Amazon. $149 shipped to my door. Definitely a good buy since I wanted one, and hate having snow in the bed of my truck.

Put on some winter wheels and tires. Pretty good fitment I got to say. I just spray painted them too. Tires are Firestone destination A/T 215/75r15.

Shiiit. Its been a hot minute since ive posted on here. First off, merry christmas/happy holidays to everyone.

Now, for the longest time I’ve had actual ranger specific fender flares which I’ve been waiting to put on. The time finally came and I gotta say, it was a bitch and a half to do.

First off I did the back. With the amount of rust in the bed fenders and how low the truck is, i had to clear out the inside part of the fender so it wouldn’t rub.
Then, I finished the front, but because my tires are pretty big for my lowered truck, I ran into more rubbing issues. Also doesnt help that one of my quarter panels is starting to rust.
The way they get attached is via rivets on the underside of the flare, so my problem currently is the panel gapping between the body and flare. It doesnt look bad from afar but still annoying up close. If anyone can recommend a product to fix it itd be appreciated. I tried double sided tape but didnt work.
Overall rating is 7/10. Pretty pricey, coming in at about $150 (if I remember correctly) and having flares come in relatively warped. Hard with one person to install snd hard for lowered trucks, lifted or stock shouldnt hAve a problem.
