Shiiit. Its been a hot minute since ive posted on here. First off, merry christmas/happy holidays to everyone.
Now, for the longest time I’ve had actual ranger specific fender flares which I’ve been waiting to put on. The time finally came and I gotta say, it was a bitch and a half to do.
First off I did the back. With the amount of rust in the bed fenders and how low the truck is, i had to clear out the inside part of the fender so it wouldn’t rub.

Then, I finished the front, but because my tires are pretty big for my lowered truck, I ran into more rubbing issues. Also doesnt help that one of my quarter panels is starting to rust.

The way they get attached is via rivets on the underside of the flare, so my problem currently is the panel gapping between the body and flare. It doesnt look bad from afar but still annoying up close. If anyone can recommend a product to fix it itd be appreciated. I tried double sided tape but didnt work.

Overall rating is 7/10. Pretty pricey, coming in at about $150 (if I remember correctly) and having flares come in relatively warped. Hard with one person to install snd hard for lowered trucks, lifted or stock shouldnt hAve a problem.
