As many of you know I used to have a 06 Mazda B2300 around here that I tried to make into an overland rig and for the most part did alright at it but eventually the lack of power, space and 4x4 really just got to be too much as I was craving more serious off road adventures
Here's the Mazda right before starting to strip it down

And heres the new Ranger! It's an automatic 4.0 with only 97,000 kms on it and in overall very good shape and a way better truck already then the Mazda ever was. Having power windows, cruise control and rear cargo area for storage sure makes a night and day difference

Since then I've wasted no time with doing some modding, lucky I already have a truck with lots of parts to swap!

So far I've done
-33's and wheels (285/75r16 Duratracs and Pro comp 7031s)
-T bar crank and alignment(about 1.75" Crank) +2" shackles and rear bilstein 5100s(from the mazda)
-Magnaflow straight through muffler, very quiet but an awesome tone when you floor it! Plan on gutting the rear cat this weekend
-Custom swingout bumper from the Mazda
-Kenwood double din from the Mazda
The plans
-Swap G2 diff cover from the Mazda
-Paint the cap and transfer that from the Mazda
-Add a leaf to help with bumper/cap weight, even with the shackles I'm barely level as we speak
-Make a bedcage to wrap around the cap for a roof top tent
-Mount explorer roof rails and basket over cab of the truck. Got four 5" Kodiak light bars to mount to the basket during that
-Mount 21" Kodiak light bar to front bumper(doing that this weekend)
-Black headlights/clear corners and sylvania hid attitude bulbs(white halogen without being a **** blinding everyone)
-Way to many other things but these are on the agenda to do first
