Not 100% sure how much it lowered. Did not do a before measurement. Stories on this site mentioned 2 to 4 inches.

What it does do is level the truck. Back & front now are same height and that is what I wanted.

Does drop your payload a good bit. I don't haul a lot of weight. Maybe some furniture once in a while.

I will post before & after pic later today.

Thanks Jeff, I'm kicking around dropping the rear while I've got the box off. If it drops it 2", I'd be level. When I lifted mine, I just went 2" straight up on both ends.

OK what makes this darn site flip some pics??????


Some of the site guys mentioned that the angles between driveshaft and rear hub may now be bad. Just enough to damage u joints short term & maybe major damage long term. I will be checking the pinion angle and getting shims if needed.

Thanks Jeff, it still gives me an idea.
Might be interesting, Ford performance parts sells lowering shackles for the F150, and they come with a set of shims. I wonder how much taper you'd need to bring that pinion angle back up. Someone has to know.
