Well got the truck pretty much done.
I still need to hook up gauges, get a cooling fan and fine tune the shifter.
Drove it about 25 miles with no problems (besides a complete lack of traction).
First and second gear are useless when you stand on it.
It breaks the tires loose at highway speeds.
I might have to put different mufflers on since ear muffs are a must have for anything over 4000 rpm.

What harness did you end up using from PSI? looking on their site and cant find the exact one i would need.

Harness #Har-1018
99-03 LM7 drive by cable with 4l60e.
I also got the PCM and brake switch for TCC lock up from them.
PSI removed VATS and all of the un-used sensors like rear o2s and egr.
It was really easy to install took about an hour.

Well put 150 miles on it today no issues.
It never got any Hotter than 185*even without a fan.
As long as its moving it stays around 168*.
I'm using my Snap On Modis Ultra for gauges for the time being.
At 70 mph it runs at 2000 rpm with TCC locked up.

Just some more pictures.
Stuff still needs to be cleaned up and put away.
I'm not going to put the heater box or overflow tank in till I can hook up temp gauge.

I'm ol' school and am neive of computer setups.......would like to do an LS swap into my 92 towpig, but spooked of doin it myself and its pretty pricey from what I've heard to have it done with cost of rebuilder block/parts car & parts.

Its not hard to do yourself there are tons of videos and forums to help you if you get stuck.
As far as cost, it can be done pretty cheap.
I'm up to about $5000 and that's including the cost of the truck in the first place as well as Djm drop Kit wheels and tires.

I could have done it way cheaper but I'm anal about wires and exhaust being symmetrical.
Check out Sloppy Mechanics on YouTube and you'll see just how cheap you can make big power.

Bought some Glow Shift gauges.
Transmission Temp, Water Temp, Oil Pressure mounted down low and the
Tachometer Mounted on the column.
I'm gonna gut a stock cluster and put them in the dash later on
I just wanna drive it instead of working on it.
Finally got the air filter mounted and installed you can just see it through the bumper.

Well I ran it at the local radar run.
I made 10 passes it ran really good. I put on some Hoosier Dirt Track tires 28x10x15.
I ran them at about 15 psi and had good traction.
Fastest speed in the 1/4 mile was 107mph and slowest was 98 mph.
Ordered a BTR Stage IV Truck cam & 3200 stall converter (winter project).
Hopefully that will really wake this truck up.

Cleaned it up a bit, because looking good is half the battle.
Also how do I upload pictures full size like at the beginning of this thread?
