So, I bought my B-4000 last night, for $2500, while it looks like its in great shape, it does have some issues.

Here are pictures from the craigslist ad:













The issues it has that I know about:
1) CEL was on
2) 4x4 not working The lights blink a few times, then stop blinking then will blink again. I have not counted the blinks, and I have not timed the time between them.
3) when Driving home, when I hit the signal for a right turn, the car made a buzzing noise.
4) the tires are BALD like super bald, beyond acceptable bald. beyond legal bald.

Things I've done so far:
The codes for the cel are P0171 and P0174, which is a lean code. I decided just for now to clear the code, and see if they come back. I've driven 10 miles, and so far so good.

For the tires, my jeep is running the same tires, but I slashed two tires on my jeep. so I'll probably take the two good tires, and put them on my b-4000, and buy just two new tires, since I planned on buying 4 new tires for my jeep anyways. (well 5, for the spare).

You stole that thing assuming 80,000 miles is accurate, and the 4x4 issue isn't expensive.

Lol, yeah that makes a difference. Depending on the work done, not always a bad if it was done right.

It was front end damage and airbags, but no frame damage from what I can see. Drives straight.

I've included links, so if anybody has any opinions on anything please let me know! I mostly want to make sure I'm getting the correct stuff. I won't be buying it all at once, a piece here and a piece there as I get the $$ together, since all the money I can spend on my cars comes from side jobs, and my youtube channel, so its a little bit here and a little bit there.

The duct tape holding the airbag halves together makes me question the quality of the repairs.

I looked at the repairs, and they look fine. The air bags just were not replaced, which I plan on doing myself.

Its a 98. It is a salvaged title, which means it spent a lot of time on somebody's lot waiting to get repaired, which explains its low miles.

I'll be out of town over the thanksgiving weekend, so it will be a bit before I get them installed, but excited to get the work started. I wish my other car would sell, so I could get the $ I need to get the tires for the truck, and start daily driving it.

Transfer case motor showed up 30 minutes ago, already have it installed and my 4x4 is working again!
