Thank you very much! I'm very glad with how it turned out, the wheels really almost make the truck.

Bob I love the way it sits! It looks exactly the way I wanted. Good to see you around. My oldest pup is a Maltese that is 8 years old now, that little shit will probably live forever.

That looks so much better lol Come do that for real and I will gladly pay that bill. They make replacement panels for the corners and the bed, I would really like to get a welder and learn. I have a brother who is a welder. The bed and body are actually in pretty rough shape. The paint is somewhat shiny when it's clean though so I can live with it for a while. Would cost thousands to do body work and paint correctly. I want to put a V8 in it first. Priorities haha

I check FRF every morning about 3 am with a cup of coffee. Ol'Blacky still runs like a top and hasn't cost me squat to maintain, still less than a 100K on the clock.

Wow that is very different. I do like chopped tops on some old sleds, not sure what I think about it on mine. I would have to install lower seats otherwise I wouldn't fit lol
Thanks for that photochop, looks really cool

I didn't even know they made a 3 AM? Haha! Those old Rangers just keep going and going with the right care. My work Ranger needed a tail light housing and wiper blades. I work that truck hard and it just keeps working.

No problem, I dropped a high performance big block V8 in your lil Ranger for you.

Okay, enough of the photoshop antics.

Regarding priorities, I think you have a good mindset on that. It's easy to get hung up on your vehicle being flawlessly pristine appearance wise. I was going to fix all the nicks, dents, and scratches on my Ranger and decided I needed an attitude adjustment. I needed to remind myself it's a man's truck, not a show car.

Not to mention, you could spend hundreds / thousands on your truck body to make it immaculate, drive two blocks from the paint shop and somebody rears end you. Sure your insurance will fix it, but you just spent thousands for nothing.

That's great I love it! It will probably be a long time before I ever get around to body work. Like you said I would lose it all if I got hit. And my insurance would not cover it. The only way I could get coverage that would pay for what I've spent on it is to get antique insurance and I wouldn't be able to drive it much. My current insurance company would pay out around $1,000, not even worth full coverage insurance.

It's slightly worrying as it is, as I've already spent a bunch. This is a very long-term project that I hope continues to get nicer and nicer little by little. I, like you, had to adjust my attitude towards having a perfect flawless vehicle. There are way more important things in life to do and spend money on.
Thanks for the photo shop fun, that was very entertaining
