The outside of your truck looked really clean for a CL POS. Everything mechanical looked like it was caked with old grease...

Natural rust prevention....note to self....next time you buy an older car....buy one that is puking fluid from everywhere....Won't have rust.

It's pretty clean but there definitely is rust. You just can't see it in the pictures I posted yet. It's alright I blame my girlfriend for talking me into it. So now she can't tell me what I can or can't do lol

Dude I haven't had an old vehicle in a very very long time. I didn't know what the fuck to look for. Oh well. This is going to be much nicer than most when I'm done

Lol. My truck is an 01. Mechanically it was sound minus ball joints when I bought it. Wasn't leaking much from anywhere....but the rust was getting rough in some spots. And of course I missed it all because it was coming from inside out under the carpet. Had I known about it...I wouldn't have bought it.

The only rust is in the wheel wells and cab corner. Besides this truck is going to get repainted it used to be that wild strawberry color and somebody did a really shitty white paint job. Frame has zero rust which actually surprises me.

I couldn't flip the damn thing so this really is my only option. Besides I've wanted an old square body for a long time
